It does not rotate so its orientation is based on your plug socket.
This nightlight is great! I use it for my dogs waterbowl at night. They know where it is but when they walk near it turns on (I’m aware they have better night vision). It’s dim enough to not be annoying (the amber color) and also stays on for the perfect amount of time.

Great night light
I love this night light! It works great, and I love that it has 3 different illumination options, plus dimming… all with the press of one button. As you can see, the motion detection works good. It comes with cute stickers as well. Set of two. I definitely recommend. I wish they had a rechargeable version.

These nightlights work exactly as described and were just what I was looking for. I especially like that they plug in so I don’t ever have to change batteries. I like them so much, I have ordered more for my family members. They arrived quickly and in good condition.

So Pretty!
This is such a pretty and classy night light! The motion sensor and daytime sensor works as expected –turning on as soon as you enter the room. When using both the back and front light, it is bright enough to see the ground well within at least 3ft of the plug. The ambient light is very soft, not overly orange, it matches the product image. The dimmest setting works well in my bedroom. Read the instructions and test it out for yourself! You may end up fiddling with the brightness like I did. There are a few configurations and they work well in different parts of my home such as the bathroom and bedroom. I’m super happy with my purchase and the way this light looks. A few things I wish it had was a rechargable flashlight for power outages, and a folding plug –but I’ve looked around and those tend to be much tackier; we can’t have it all!

ORIGINAL REVIEW 4/5/2026:Reasons why there is a note on the listing that many of these are returned…1. REALLY, really dumb instructions enclosed– goofy, confusing diagrams and wording that makes no sense.AND2. Poor quality control—I watched the video on this listing where it shows the back side has a switch you slide to move between the three lighting modes. BOTH of the lights in my package were missing the switch. Instead there was just an oval, flat space of “nothingness” where the switch was supposed to be.While this light has every feature allowing it to be THE perfect night light versatile enough to suit everyone’s needs, they totally dropped the ball with the final product.Don’t get me started on the dumb stickers they enclosed to decorate the larger lighted area with eyes and sunglasses, etc.So, I am returning these defective lights and will take a chance and order another box — maybe I’ll win the lotto and get a fully functioning set of these great lights.UPDATED REVIEW 4/8/2026:I returned the defective set of lights and re-ordered the same item.Lo and behold, they both came with a switch and labelled options on the back side (which the original set was missing). Now the pix in the listing make more sense and we are able to adjust our light settings for each location.Upgraded from 2 STARS to 3 STARS. People should not have to be confused and have to return-reorder to get what was advertised!PROS:–Ability to customize the brightness level(s)–3 lighting customizations: 1. forward lighting (only); 2. backlighting (only); or 3. I love this nightlight!
I love this nightlight! The fact that it is dimmable was one of the reasons I purchased this nightlight. Then when you add on the motion sensor feature – it’s even better! I have tried a couple different nightlights by Yunlex and this by far is my favorite. The light is not blinding to the eyes – yet it’s still bright enough to guide you at night. The look of this nightlight is very sophisticated. Not cheap. It leaves plenty of room to use the second outlet. I can’t say enough good things nightlight. Would definitely purchase again!

We bough this for our senior dog who is beginning to show signs of dementia. She began to get lost in the dark when making her way back to her bed from the water bowl. We set this to motion detection and it has become her beacon back to her bed. Function’s great, great valie and perfect size!
