Worth The Buy
I will never not have this carpet pad underneath my rugs from now on. Im sorry I waited so long to buy one. It adds a level of cushion to the area rug. It helps keep the rug in place very well. It is nice and thick, and definitely meets my standard for functionality. Highly recommend and will be buying one for each area rug.

Great rug pad for keeping rugs in place
I put this under a 6×9 rug in our loft which is basically the kids’ hangout area, and it has made a big difference. Before adding this pad the rug would shift around constantly with kids running, playing, and moving furniture, but now it stays in place really well. It is well made and adds a little extra protection for the floor underneath. I did not get the thicker option and wish I would have but this works for what we need in this particular space. It was easy to set up and you can trim it if needed to fit your rug. Overall it works exactly how I hoped and keeps everything safer and more comfortable in a high traffic space.

Very thin bet pee pee proof and machine washable
The mat is to put under my carpet runner on carpet floor. I have two little pee pee dogs that won’t go out when it rains. I shampoo my actual carpet floor daily. I put a 5×7 rug on top with the waterproofing mat under so it doesn’t sink through. Hopefully this works. The mat is very thin but I do not need anything but a blocker.

Rug Stays In Place – And It’s Waterproof Too!
I picked up this Waterproof Rug Pad in the 8×10 ft size for a large area rug in our living room (hardwood floors), and it’s been a game-changer. We have kids and a dog who love running around, so our previous rug was constantly bunching up, sliding, and creating trip hazards – super annoying.This pad works perfectly and keeps my area rug completely in place. No more shifting or wrinkling, even with daily foot traffic and the occasional wrestling match from the kids. The non-slip grip is strong on both sides – the felt top grabs the rug backing nicely, and the TPR bottom holds firm to the hardwood without leaving any marks or residue (which was a big worry for me).It fits well right out of the box for my 8×10 rug, but I love that it’s easy to cut to adjust if needed. I trimmed a couple inches on one side to fit around a floor vent perfectly – scissors did the job without any fraying or hassle. The height/thickness is just right – not too thick that it makes the rug feel elevated or unstable, but enough to add a bit of cushion and softness underfoot. It makes the whole rug feel plusher without changing the look or door clearance.The waterproof feature is a nice bonus. We’ve had a couple spills (thanks, toddler), and nothing seeped through to the floor – easy cleanup on top, and the pad itself seems unaffected. No funky smells either when it arrived, which is always a plus with these kinds of products.Overall, great value, does exactly what it’s supposed to (and more), and has made our living room way safer and more comfortable. Inconsistent quality
Inconsistent quality. I purchased an 8×10 1/4 inch and loved it! It felt so plush. Purchased a 5×7 1/4 inch because I like the 8×10 so much and it felt much thinner – could barely tell there was a pad at all. I don’t know if they made a mistake and sent the 1/8 inch, but I’m not happy with the purchase.

Good product
This pad is good. I have had better and I have had worse. My cleaners come and wash the floor and when they put this pad back down, it becomes very slippery under the rug if there is any moisture under it. If the floor is dry, they work great. My rug on top seems to slip a little as well. I had to really cut it down because there was movement and it would be poking out from under my rug if that makes sense. It became really annoying. It does seem to be water proof, so that is a plus.
